Mr. Qasmi came to Japan in June along with Mr. Amjad Islam Amjad and Mr. Mehmood Sham of Jang Group. We interviewed Mr. Ata Ul Haq Qasmi during his Japan visit in which he spoke about Pakistan`s social trends and Pak-Japan relation as well.

In June, Mr. Amjad Islam Amjad, along with two other Pakistani Poets and writers Mr. Ata Ul Haq Qasmi and Mr. Mehmood Sham of Jang group visited Japan and participated in number of Mushiara`s and other parties organized by Pakistan Assciation Japan (Redg.). Mr. Imtiaz Ahmad Gondal is President of Pakistan Association Japan (Redg.) and one of the prominent Pakistani businessman in Japan.
Since Mr. Imtiaz Ahmad Gondal join Pakistan Association Japan, the association turned into more active community organization. Stressing the need to promote Pakistan and Japan bilateral relation and community relation with the Japanese society, the Association is planning to organize many community programs in 2006 and their calendar is seems to be busy all around the year. Acknowledging the reality in lack of community engagement with the Japanese society, Mr. Gondal seeking to organize Association network all over Japan.
After taking oath for the new president of the Pakistan Association Japan (Redg.) Mr. Imtiaz Ahmad Gondal announced a free facility for the transportation of dead bodied of Pakistani national to Tokyo Narita Airport or to the any graveyard in Japan.

Mr. Athar Siddiqui, the Managing Director of Showa Tsusho Co Ltd., in Japan is one of the prominent and Senior Pakistani Businessman in Japan. Used car exports is one of the largest business in which Pakistanis are integral part in the far eastern country of Rising Sun, the Japan.
Mr. Athar Siddiqui views reflects voices of all Pakistani used car exporters in Japan. Mr. Siddiqui brought up suggestion to create an international used car market in Pakistan and majority of Pakistani used car exporters in Japan demanding for it, since many years.

Mr. Mian Tauseef Abrar in one of the very active Pakistani businessman engaged in Air Travel Ticketing business in Japan. He is owner of Tokyo based Mian International Company for Travel Business. Pakistan Association Japan (R-S) is said to be reorganizing and he is willing to pay his role in uniting and reorganizing the Association.
On March 19th, a meeting of said Association held in Tokyo and Mian Abrar became interim President of the Association as former President of the Association publicly announced that he is stepping down as a President of the Association to pave the way for others to come forward.
Mian Tauseef Abrar believes that by practically reorganization of an Association, Pakistani community in Japan could manage to overcome many problems. It is first time that a person like Mian Tauseef Abrar decided to Participate in a community organization and time will prove how he was success full to manage the crisis.

Establishment of Pakistan-Japan Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo

On February 12th, election were held for creation of the Pakistan-Japan Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo`s New Otani Hotel. An eight member executive body has been elected and further process is underway for the formal registration of the newly formed Paksitan-Japan Chamber of Commerce.
Elected Chairman of the body Mr. Imtiaz Ahmad Gondal spoke with UrduNet about purposes of the Chamber and his own willingness and hope.

Pakistani Businessman Jameel Ahmad`s Interview

Mr. Jameel Ahmad is one of the pioneer Halal Food businessman in Japan and owner of FEAST Co., Ltd. He began this business in Japan in early 90s and continue seeking ways to bring Pakistani products in the Japanese market.
He urged Pakistani government, Embassy of Pakistan in Japan and Pakistani exporters to promote Pakistani products in Japan. But he also emphasized needs to improve quality and packing of Pakistani goods and products.
Halal food business is expending in Japan as more and more Muslims from Malaysia, Indonesia, African continent and Middle East coming into Japan and number of Japanese Muslim is also on increasing. Mr. Jameel Ahmad is willing to gain opportunities in this business.
He openly speak about bitterness of lack of Pakistani products in Japan and want some positive steps from the government of Pakistan and the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo.
